YOUTH
The Robinhood Road Baptist Youth Group focuses on the discipleship of students in the seventh through the twelfth grade. Our desire is to lay a groundwork of Biblical principles that will follow them into college and adulthood. By the time a student has graduated, he or she will have learned a Biblical foundation based on the following seven check points:
Authentic Faith
We want to help our students have a correct understanding of Faith – Proverbs 3:5-6
Spiritual Disciplines
We want to help our students grow in their faith through having a healthy devotional life. True transformation begins with a renewed mind – Romans 12:2
Moral Boundaries
We want to help our students learn how to protect their body and emotions by honoring God’s plan for morality – 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
Healthy Friendships
We want to help our students see that their friends determine the direction and quality of their life. Therefore we want to help them focus on healthy friendships while avoiding unhealthy ones – Proverbs 13:20
Wise Choices
We want to help our students with wise decision making skills – Ephesians 5:15-17
Ultimate Authority
We want to help our students see that true freedom is found under authority just the way God intended – Romans 13:1-2
Others First
We want to help our students put the needs of others ahead of their own, just like Jesus modeled Himself – Philippians 2:3-11
We provide numerous fellowship activities and service projects with a God-centered purpose. We also attend a week long summer camp and at least one weekend retreat. RRBC loves, cares & prays for the youth on a daily basis. What a blessing it is to watch as these students grow in their faith and impact their world for Christ!
